I have decided to launch a community here on Locals because due to my careful research, I have concluded this is one of the social media sites that Big Tech is not in control of it's gateway.
While I will still be writing columns for The Epoch Times, Uncover DC and X22 Report, as well as my own Substack, I will be posting videos and doing live chats here on Locals.
I left Youtube last March after getting my 2nd strike for discussing the blatant theft of the 2020 election. Conservatives need to find platforms where they say what they think without looking over their shoulder.
A lot of Conservatives on YouTube are still there, self-censoring themselves so they won't get their videos taken down or their ad money and payments frozen. I won't be one of them.
I had started up an account on Rumble, before learning the site is run off of Amazon Web Services, which scared me off. We should have learned from the Parler unpleasantness that all it takes is Jeff Bezos making a phone call and any service using AWS as it's gateway to the internet can find itself instantly shut down.
Any website asking Conservatives to join it and invest their time into it should let it's users know if it is running off of AWS or not. They should not have to go digging and searching for that information. Sites should be upfront about who provides their gateway.
I've been neglecting this community here on locals.com, something for which I apologize.
I've been dividing my time between Telegram [which I just left, for the time being], Truth Social, and now that Elon is running it, Twitter.
One reason I put locals on the back burner is I was not happy with the strict limitation to my livestreaming on here, where I was limited to just 15 minute and then 30 minute broadcasts. I had several streams ended prematurely by this feature, which I hate.
However, I am now committing to developing this community to the point I can get to unlimited streaming without having to watch a clock and trying to wrap up before the platform unceremoniously starts a countdown and ends my stream for me.

Brian I heard you moved to Lakeland FL. I am president of a medium sized Conservative club (non sanctioned Republican Club) located in Northern Lakeland. If you ever want to attend one of our meetings, we are located in a gated community known as Cypress Lakes 55+ community at 10,000 98 North. We are trying to awaken others in our community about getting involved on the local level. We have a concern that for our newly created congressional district (district 15) there is a candidate running who we feel is misrepresenting himself as a republican but was a radical liberal just 3 years ago running as a democrat in Miami.
